The Sounds of America

This Peabody-Award Winning Series was created by Ben Manilla at BMP Audio in 2006. These non-narrated radio profiles showcase some of the recordings added to the National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress every year. In 2022, The Sounds of America won the Grand Award at the New York Festivals Radio Awards. Jennie Cataldo has been a producer of the series since 2012. Her production company, Accompany Studios, now produces the series in full. A new season airs every spring.
